Organic Extra-Virgin Olive Oil 3 L (Olio Extra Vergine di Oliva)

Production: This extra-virgin olive oil is produced by cold pressing of olives from plantations located in Menfi, in a hilly area of western Sicily, close to the Mazzara Valley (classified as Protected Denomination of Origin - DOP). The Oil is obtained from typical varieties of this area (Biancolilla, Nocellara del Belice, Cerasuola).

Characteristics: The sample is of medium fruitiness, showing notes of citrus fruit and grass. It has a medium-high bitter, persistent on the palate, with mild presence of spicy flavour. The latter is persistent but it doesn’t cause discomfort to the throat. It is more bitter than spicy. It is free from defects.
